Our Christmas
Wow, Christmas was really good for us. It came and went quickly. But honestly, I think this year was the first year since Kamryn has been born that I haven't felt tremendous stress!!! It was nice and simple with us staying home. And all the presents fit under the tree this year which I was happy about lol. We had cooked ham and salads and left it at that. Well of course finishing it off with pumpkin pie and cream lol. Then we took the girls down to the bowling club and let them ride bikes. Lauryn got a new trike and Kamryn had her bike from last year. (I have to confess that Kamryn's bike has been put up for a year with her thinking I threw it away lol. Because last year shortly after Christmas we found her pulling her streamers out of the handlebars. So we told her she didn't need it if she wasn't going to take care of it. And we just forgot about it and she never started asking about it until a couple of months ago. She remembers the whole incident and why it went away but really thought we had thrown it away. So on Christmas we put it back in the garage and she knew it was her bike and thought Santa brought it back lol.) Kamryn did exceptional on her bike. Much better than we thought she would since she hadn't ridden it in a year. It wasn't long and she was telling Hugh that he didn't need to worry about her. It's amazing what a year can do!!! And Lauryn didn't want to try to pedal her bike, instead I just pushed her lol. Then later after dinner we went to Arkles Bay and let the girls play on the beach. What a great way to finish Christmas. It really was a wonderful Christmas and one I would like to repeat every year! Here are some photos from the day. I didn't take many cause it's like the kids' birthdays, you have the best intentions but you never take what you want lol.

Sounds like a nice Christmas Day! I'm glad Lauryn loved her bike, she looks pretty happy on it!
what a wonderful day Christi. Sounds like Kamryn has realised that Santa thought she had been good to get her bike back. Love that story big time.
The girls look so cute Christi - sounds like you had a wonderful and relaxing day - just what Xmas should be!!
